CONNECTING THE HP PRINTER 6970

 

•Turn on the printer after connecting it to the power source.

•Select your language preference and country to fix your preference on the control panel of HP printer 6970 And click on ‘yes' button.

•Now connect the printer with your PC through the USB cable you were provided with.

 


 

INK CARTRIDGE INSTALLATION OF THE HP PRINTER 6970

 

•Open up the protecting cap From the Cartridge after opening the cartridge door.

•Now insert the cartridge in the slot and close it.

 

 

DOWNLOADING THE DRIVER SOFTWARE FOR WIRED/WIRELESS CONNECTION OF THE PRINTER

 

•For installation, click on 123.hp.com/setup 6970   and enter your printer model number in the search area and press the search icon.

•Download the drivers directly from the website by following the instructions provided on screen.

•Click on ‘download' from the ‘Driver’ option.

•A window Pop up with the device installation setting will appear with preferences of yes and no.

•Select the radio button before YES and allow the drivers to get downloaded.

 

 

CONNECTING HP PRINTER 6970 THROUGH WIRELESS OR WIRED SETTING

 

•Go to the control panel of the computer ; click on the ‘devices and printer' and select.

•Under menu bar, select ‘add a printer'.

•A window appears where you can select ‘HP printer 6970’ and then select ‘Next'.

•Install the printer to your computer using the instructions that appear on your screen.

•In case your printer is not in the list, choose ‘if your printer is not in the list' and then add printer.

•Under ‘the printer I want is not listed' , add a local/network printer with manual settings and then type the details of the printer and select ‘next'.

•Now select the port that the printer will use and select ‘next'.

•Now let your Windows to get updated.

•Now select ‘HP' on the windows that will now open, choose the name of your printer and click ‘next'.

•Now allow your computer to connect with the printer and select ‘next' to install the printer driver.

 

Now, for printing, Place a paper in the tray of the printer, select the document you want to print and press ‘ctrl’ + ‘P’ simultaneously on keyboard. A new window will appear where you can enter the number of pages you want to print. You can then press ‘enter’ or select ‘ok’.
