How to connect HP wireless Printer to laptop
Check

Wi-Fi, the process of preparing the printer for connection will be slightly
different.
· Some Wi-Fi printers should be connected directly to a wireless router via
Ethernet
· Place the computer in a location that can receive your
wireless signal. Your printer will need the ability to communicate with a
wireless router, so you can't place it too far away from the router.
· Turn on the printer. Press the printer power button; they
will probably have an icon on or next to them. Your printer must be connected
to a power source.If necessary, also plug the printer's Ethernet cable into the
router.
· Some printers need to connect directly to your Windows or
Mac computer before they can be used wirelessly, while others allow you to
complete the wireless setup process on the printer itself.
· If your printer supports wireless networks, then you will
usually need to use the menu interface on the printer to search for your
wireless network. After connecting, you will need to enter your wireless password.
Prepare
the printer for connection. To do so:
· Find the Wi-Fi network setup page on
the printer screen, and then enter the network password. It must be the same
network that your computer is connected to.
· In case of Bluetooth - Press the "Pair"
button,
· Open Start-Click the Windows logo
situated in the lower-left corner of the
screen.
· Click Settings located in the lower
left corner of the Start window.
· Click Devices. This option is at the
top of the Settings window.
· Click Printers and Scanners or
Bluetooth and other devices. If you are connecting a Wi-Fi printer, click
Printers and Scanners. For a Bluetooth printer, click Bluetooth and other
devices.
· Click Add a printer or scanner, or
Add Bluetooth or another device. They are located at the top of the page and
depend on whether you are connecting a Wi-Fi printer or a Bluetooth printer.
· When connecting a Wi-Fi printer, you
may see the printer name already listed on the page. If so, your printer is
connected.
· You may need to click the Bluetooth
switch first to enable Bluetooth on your computer.
· Connect the printer to the computer.
Click the name of your printer in the Add window; if you are connecting a
Bluetooth printer, you will need to click and Connect after selecting the
printer. This will connect the printer to the Windows computer.
· You may need to press the "Pair" button on the
printer again if you connect to Bluetooth.
